Year 7, 2025 Experience Day Friday 20 October
On Friday 20 October, KRB will be hosting our first ever Year 7, 2025 Experience Morning. The event marks the start of our comprehensive orientation program for that year group. We are excited to welcome students enrolled or enquiring about Year 7, 2025 to our campus for this exciting day. Girls will have the opportunity to experience life in the KRB senior school and also get to know the other girls from numerous schools who will join the cohort in Year 7.

Student Wellbeing
Every girl is known and cared for at KRB. The School’s Wellbeing Framework, SELF + (Social Emotional Learning to Flourish), has been uniquely developed to meet the needs of all KRB students. It is informed by the science of positive psychology and is underpinned by an understanding of the five Sacred Heart goals. Positive Education underpins the educational experience of all students at KRB. It is defined as the combination of traditional education principles with the study of happiness and wellbeing. (Seligman, 2011). The KRB Student Wellbeing framework applies these by ensuring each individual develops Social, Emotional, and Learning skills in order to flourish. The framework has a focus on the evidence-based concepts of Gratitude, Growth Mindset, Mindfulness, Resilience and the identification of Character Strengths.
Sport
Sport is an integral part of the curriculum at KRB. Our MTC area includes facilities including an indoor 25m heated pool, tennis courts, outdoor basketball, netball and hockey courts as well an indoor multipurpose center including a dance studio. Students have the opportunity to join social and competitive programs that suit their appropriate levels and interest.
Music and Drama
We provide a great variety of opportunities for students to explore different areas of Music and Drama. Whether it includes individual instrument or dramatic performances, group orchestra, choir and drama or students competing in local and state competitions. We ensure each student is placed in a program to allow them to grow and succeed in their endeavours. Every second year, KRB holds an annual musical performance, often held off site at NIDA. In 2024, KRB students will perform and operate the musical performance of Legally Blonde!
Outdoor Education
At KRB, we are blessed with an extensive campus that allows us to hold on-campus outdoor education as well as off-campus school camps. Some of our on-campus activities include Sydney Harbour kayaking, paddle boarding, and abseiling. Our Outdoor Education Program teaches our students an awareness of their surroundings, as well as fundamental skills in survival and teamwork.
