Boarding Facilities

Kincoppal-Rose Bay has a world-class campus where modern facilities seamlessly blend with 19th century architecture. This is our borders domain, their home away from home.

Our central location above Sydney Harbour with easy access to beaches and city attractions sets the scene for a boarding experience that is enriched through the state-of-the-art accommodation and optimal learning spaces.

We have two boarding houses at KRB which each cater to the needs of students who live within them.

Year 7-11 Boarders

Jackson and Woodward Houses are the main boarding houses that cater for our boarders in Years 7 to 11.

The Jackson and Woodward House buildings overlook Sydney Harbour and are architecturally in keeping with the Sacred Heart ethos and heritage. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with reverse cycle air-conditioning, wireless connectivity and contemporary furnishings.

We encourage the girls to develop independence in their study routines and to enjoy and contribute to the community in which they reside. Our recreational program makes the most of the KRB campus facilities to ensure the boarders have a healthy balance in their lives.

Year 12 Boarders

Sheldon House is a purpose-built facility designed to support our final years students to achieve their academic goals. All Year 12 boarders reside at Sheldon House.

The accommodation at Sheldon House is modern and spacious with single, double and triple bedrooms overlooking Sydney Harbour and isolated from the bustle of the main school.

This separate housing provides our Year 12 girls with an optimal environment for study and relaxation as they manage the demands of their final year of school.
