Our philosophy of Sacred Heart Education is framed by the understanding that education is both transformational and holistic. We therefore focus on the needs of every student with individualised attention and goals, and educate both their Heart and the Mind, as the school’s motto, Cor Unum, proclaims.
Our approach is guided by the founder of the Society of the Sacred Heart, St Madeleine Sophie Barat, who said that she “would have founded the Society for the sake of one child.”Our approach, from our combination of co-education and all girls education to our wellbeing and teaching and learning frameworks, is thoroughly intentional and based on research about how students of different ages and different genders learn best and flourish.
