HSC Results 2023

The Class of 2023 continued our School’s rich tradition of academic excellence, delivering outstanding results in the Higher School Certificate and proving their readiness for the world that lies before them.

The sense of great joy and excitement from the cohort — and from the staff who saw them through their time atKRB — was palpable as results were released at the end of 2023. We are very proud of all they achieved asindividuals, and as a Year Group, and thank them for their outstanding commitment to our School.

A key strength of this cohort was their openness to pursuing their many and varied interests, achieving excellence across a diverse range of learning areas. KRB students performed above the State HSC Examination averages in 31 out of 34 courses. Our 62 Distinguished Achievers appeared 152 times on the NESA Distinguished Achievers
List, with many appearing several times.

Every student in Ancient History, Design and Technology, Drama, Music 1 and 2, Italian Beginners, History Extension and English Extension 1 achieved a Band 5 or 6. All our Mathematics accelerants achieved a Band 6.

This is a testament to the value of a well-rounded Sacred Heart education offered at KRB, where students are
encouraged to follow their passions and interests, embracing an attitude of lifelong learning.

HSC Results Highlights:

  • Top ATAR of 99.50 – Lily Wood
  • 17% of students received an ATAR over 95

We wish the Class of 2023 every success and happiness in their lives beyond KRB.
