We congratulate our Alumnae who have recently celebrated their weddings at the Kincoppal-Rose Bay Chapel.
Casper Hawke (2008) and Angeline Hartono on Sunday, 28 May 2023
Caspar was attended by his brother, Barnaby, on his wedding day. Both Caspar and Barnaby are Alumni of Barat Burn. Caspar made his first holy communion in the Chapel and also sang in Mark Stubleys’ boys choir, as a soprano, whilst at Barat Burn. Mark was thrilled to be playing the organ for Caspar’s wedding. Caspar and Angeline enjoyed a honeymoon to Cradle Mountain, Tasmania before settling in Haberfield. Caspar is currently working as a corporate and commercial solicitor as well as completing pro bono work with a focus on domestic violence/law reform.
Krystle McWilliams and Nicholas Honey on 30 September, 2023
Krystle graduated in the Class of 2009 and included fellow classmates Isobel Lee and Samantha Kwok in her bridal party. Taking some time out from her role as an Associate Director – Project Finance at Commonwealth Bank Australia, Krystle and Nick plan to travel overseas for their honeymoon in July 2024.
Charlotte Murphy (2015) and Dylan Seeto on 18 November 2023
Charlotte and Dylan were married in the KRB chapel with a receptionn held afterwards at Vaucluse House. Included in the Bridal Party were Alumna Olivia Murphy (2018), Elinore Larnach (2015) and Phoebe Anderson (2015). Congratulations to Charlotte and Dylan who are now expecting their first child in August 2024.
Sarah Smith (2013) married James Marchinton on 3 February 2024.
Sarah’s bridesmaids were her three sisters Ursula Bailey (2011), Vanessa Smith (2015) and Xanthea Smith (2017) and classmate Claudia Kelly (2013). Sarah said it was honour to have Mary Shanahan RSCJ attend on their wedding day, and it made Sarah’s day to see all of the boarders waving from their rooms above when they left the Chapel. KRB Alumna, Georgie Langford (2011) designed all of the beautiful flowers for the Wedding.
Sarah and James live in Orange and Sarah is currently self-employed practicing as an Artist. In 2018, Sarah completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy, with a Major in International Health, via the University of Sydney. In May, Sarah will be returning to University to complete a Graduate Diploma of Psychology.
