On Monday, 22 October, we welcomed Alumnae who had graduated from KRB 50 years ago or more for the much loved, annual Sandwiches and Song Event.

Commencing with Morning Tea served in Chapel Square, the ladies then attended a Liturgy in the Chapel.  This was an opportunity for prayer, reflection and song with soloist, Josie Ryan, accompanied by KRB Music Teacher Mark Stubley playing the organ.

Lunch was served in the MTC where ladies sat with their year group classmates.  The Junior School Choir sang several songs for the group before Vanessa Gorman (Alumnae and current parent) spoke about the benefits and opportunities provided to her daughter Francesca who is the current recipient of the Mary Shanahan Scholarship.

We celebrated the school reunions of several year groups with special mention being made of one attendee, Shirley O’Shea, having left Kincoppal in 1938.

After lunch, all granddaughters of attendees were invited to the MTC to visit their grandmothers.
